To contribute in supporting the growth of the very important sectors of our economy i.e. dairy and milk production by way of protecting the interest of the farmers, banks and dairy growers, EFU General is offering the finest livestock loan policy covering wide range of perils

EFU General Insurance Ltd. is offering Livestock Loan Insurance in light of Government of Pakistan’s Livestock Loan Insurance Framework/Scheme to cover the livestock loans extended by the Banks/institutions to the borrowers for the purpose of purchasing and rearing of animals for milk production and supply.

Livestock Loan lending is protected through Livestock Loan Insurance

EFU General is covering the loans extended by the Banks/institutions to the borrowers for the purpose of purchasing and rearing of dairy animals and if the borrower is unable to repay the outstanding loan due to the death of the animal(s) caused from any of the following events:

Coverage is for animals having the age from 9 months to 7 years

Coverage is available if animals are purchased and reared during the validity period of the policy

Coverage is available for purchase of cows, buffaloes and bulls only

Local and imported animals are covered

Riders are also available like:

permanent total disablement of the animal leading to death

Theft

Bank and borrower both are beneficiaries of this scheme

Government supported Scheme thus aiding to the increase in dairy production by providing financial resources to the farmers through livestock credit

Bank is required to engage in an agreement with the EFU General Insurance Ltd.

Bank is required to share the loan information of the borrower with EFU General

Animal Tagging
